ESTABLISHMENT
- From the year 1985 to 2004:
Though at that time the training center wasn’t established yet, the training activities were already performed since the first days of the corporation, which was named HELICOP VIETNAM. During these periods, training was focused as a vital mission in our corporation’s development strategy.
- From the year 2004 to 2012:
With the purpose of specialization of the training activities, VNHT was officially set up as a Training center of VNH South with the main functions are pilot type ratings, advanced and recurrent training, technician and ground handling staff training.
- From the year 2012:
Based on our training resource availabilities and capabilities, VNHT was detached from VNH South following the Decision of Ministry of Defense No 1611/ QĐ-BQP and the Decision of VNH No 34/ QĐ-TCT. The main functions are: Ab-initio and advanced pilot training, technician and ground handling staff training.
CERTIFICATION
VNHT is registered training under license of CAA of Viet Nam: No 06-2012/ ATO.
LICENCES AND ACCREDITATIONS
Currently, VNHT is approved to perform and certify the pilot type rating courses on EC 120, EC 155B1, EC 225 LP, Super Puma L2, MI 17, Cabri G2 and EC-130T2.
We are improving our resources and applying to CAAV for the certificate of ATO level 1 in order to licence:
•Private Pilot License(H);
•Commercial Pilot License (H);
•Type Rating (H);
•Instructors Rating (H);
•Flight engineer (H);
•Aviation techinician (H)
INSTRUCTOR TEAMS:
We pride of the excellence of our instructor teams:
Flight instructors are qualified and experienced captains who graduated from the Viet Nam Army Airforce school, Aviation Academy of Viet Nam and flight schools in UK, USA and France. They have accumulated more than tens of thousands of VFR and IFR flight time in the country and abroad.
Ground instructors are highly proficient engineers and technicians who were graduated from an nationally or abroad accredited institutions or technical schools. Most of them have more than ten years of the industry experience.
Our flight and ground instructors have been trained the teaching methods by authorized professionals or organizations.

At VNHT, the following projects have been developed:
-Pilot recruitment, training and development project;
-Training helicopter procurement project;
