On early April 24^th 2015, in Da Nang City, Vietnam Helicopter Corporation (VNH) organised the solemn launching ceremony for the sightseeing helitour on the brand-new helicopter EC-130T2. Attending the Grand Opening event were: Mr. Tran Tho – the Secretary of Danang city committee cum the Chairman of the People’s Committee, Major General Ha Tien Dung – the Commander of the Army Corporation 18/ Chairman cum General Director of Vietnam Helicopter Corporation.

The sightseeing helitour has belonged to the VNH’s project for development of a new flight services, which firstly deployed in Da Nang City, contributing to tourism in Vietnam. With helitour services, VNH offer fixed time flight tours and charter flights, which will be performed on a brand-new hi-technology type of helicopters – EC-130T2. During flight tours, passengers could discover the marvelous sightseeing of the city from above with the circle route: taking off at the Nuoc Man Airport Base, then bringing tourists to enjoy the beautiful scenery in Danang (Ngu Hanh Son Mountain Range, Da Nang Beaches, the bridges over Han River, Linh Ung Pagoda), returning and landing to the Nuoc Man Airport Base With charter flights services, the whole packages are provided with various options for tourist’s choice, such as the tours from Da Nang to various famous sites in the Central region such as Son Tra Peninsula (Intercontinental Hotel), Hoi An City, Ba Na Hills Resort, Cham Islet, My Son Sanctuary, Ly Son Island, Son Doong Cave… or per requested.

Aiming for excellent services, VNH brought into operations the modern helicopter EC-130T2. This newly-manufactured helicopter integrates a number of premium features: modern amenities, wide viewing angles, special design for observing, suitable and comfortable for 5-to-6-passenger sightseeing tours, being equipped with air-conditioner, interactive telecommunication system between pilots and passengers.
