Signing ceremony on the simulator purchase contract between VNH Training Center and Entrol Entrenadores Olarte S.L
On 28th October 2015, at VNH Training Center – Vungtau city, Vietnam, took place the signing ceremony on the simulator purchase contract between VNH Training Center and Entrol Entrenadores Olarte S.L company.
The signed contract has been a result of the implementation of Vietnam Helicopter Corporations’s development projects with the aim to invest high – technology equipment in helicopter flight and technical training.
To be manufactured by a Spanish reputable company – Entrol Entrenadores Olarte S.L, the simulator of the type FNPT II MCC replicates the cockpit, all the systems, the flight models based on the twin engine helicopter type EC 155 B1. The device which has specifications comfortable to CS – FSTD (H) EASA, will be equipped with visual field of view of 200 degrees horizontal and 70 degrees vertical, high resolution and worldwide database.

With the latest training configuration, softwares, the simulator will be usable for a number of modular and intergrated training courses, such as PPL, CPL, ATPL, MCC, IR-ME, FI, IRI, MCCI, STI and other additional training: EC-155 Cockpit Familiarization, EC-155 Normal & Emergency Procedures Refreshment, Systems Training, CRM (Crew Resource Management), TEM (Threat and Error Management), LOFT (Line Oriented Flight Training), Initial Pilot Evaluation, Offshore Operation Training.
To meet customer’s expectation and to enhance training safety, quality, effectivity in the industry, in recent years VNH has been implemented numerous invesment projects in the field of training. With the new simulator, VNH Training center would both provide extensive flight practical training and reduce the training cost that is beneficial for trainees, customers.
The FNPT II MCC EC 155 B1 installation at VNH Training Center will contractually be accomplished in the third quarter of the year 2016.
