Aviation Technician Training Program
This program consists of syllabi for training airframe-engine and avionics technicians. The course is designed to provide theoretical knowledge and praticing skills for technicians to be familiar with a new type of helicopters rather than the ones certified in their licences.
VNH Training Center perform technician training on the following types of helicopters: Eurocopter EC 155 Dauphin, Eurocopter EC 225, Super Puma AS332-L2, MI 17, MI 172, Eurocopter EC 120
PRE-REQUISITES:
Before attending the course, the following requirements must be met:
- Minimum age: at least 20 years of age.
- Medical fitness: must hold an appropriate medical certificate issued by an authorised medical center.
- Education: at least must hold high school’s and technical college’s diplomas.
- Languages: good communication ability in Vietnamese and/ or English with minimium score of TOEIC 450 or DYNED level 1.
- Job experience: must hold a valid maintenance certificate and have helicopter maintenance experience at an aviation technical center.
- Proof of identity: Personal ID or passport, Declaration of any pending criminal proceedings and other equivalent documents.
THE CAAV REQUIREMENTS:
An applicant for technician’s type rating must meet the following requirements:
Theoretical knowledge and practice:
Must hold a valid certificate of the successful completion of Airframe and Engine theoretical syllabus of minimium 120 hours and Avionics theoretical syllabus of minimium 200 hours.
Must have completed required time of practicing on site of the helicopter type during the course.
Must pass the exam after the course.
Medical fitness:
Must hold a valid appropriate medical certificate issued by an authorised medical center.
Registration form.
