Type ratings Program
This type rating program is designed to train a pilot to be familiar in handling with another type of helicopters which is different from the current ones certified on his pilot license.
VNH Training Center is conducting tye ratings on the following helicopters: Eurocopter EC 155 Dauphin, Eurocopter EC 225, Super Puma AS332-L2, MI 17, MI 172, Eurocopter EC 120
PRE-REQUISITES:
Before attending the course, the following requirements must be met:
- Minimum age: at least 18 years of age.
- Medical fitness: must hold a valid Class 1 or 2 medical certificate issued by an authorised medical center.
- Education: at least must hold a high school diploma.
- Languages: good communication ability in Vietnamese and/ or English with minimium score of TOEIC 450 or DYNED level 1.
- Flying experience: must hold PPL-H and/ or CPL-H and/ or ATPL-H license .
- Proof of identity: Personal ID or passort, Declaration of any pending criminal proceedings and other equivalent documents.
THE CAAV REQUIREMENTS:
An applicant for a Type Ratings must meet the following requirements:
Theoretical knowledge:
Must hold a valid certificate of the successful completion of Type ratings Theoretical syllabus of 60 hours.
Experience and crediting:
Must have completed at least 15 hours of flight time.
Must pass a proficiency checkride with an examiner assigned by CAAV.
Medical fitness:
Must hold a valid Class 1 or 2 medical certificate issued by an authorised medical center
Registration form.
Type ratings Theoritical syllabus of 60 hours.
1.General aircraft knowledge
- Airframe and systems.
- Powerplant and systems.
- Avionics.
- Emergency equipment.
2.Flight principles and procedures
- Working with Flight Manual.
- Minimium Equipment List (MEL).
- Specifications and planning.
- Use of optional equipment and the effects.
- Weight and balance. Ground handling.
- Abnormal and emergency procedures.
