CPL Program
The Commercial Pilot License (CPL) program is designed to train you to become a professional helicopter pilot. This course is a good choice for the student who is fond of flying and chooses flying helicopter as his career.
PRE-REQUISITES:
Before attending the course, the following requirements must be met:
- Minimum age: at least 18 years of age.
- Medical fitness: must hold a valid Class 1 medical certificate issued by an authorised medical center.
- Education: at least must hold a high school diploma.
- Languages: good communication ability in Vietnamese and/ or English with minimium score of TOEIC 450 or DYNED level 1.
- Flying experience: zero flying crediting time or holding Helicopter Private Pilot License (PPL-H).
- Proof of identity: Personal ID or passort, Declaration of any pending criminal proceedings and other equivalent documents.
THE CAAV REQUIREMENTS:
An applicant for a Helicopter Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL-H) must meet the following requirements:
Theoretical knowledge:
Must hold a valid certificate of the successful completion of CPL Theoretical syllabus of 750 hours .
Experience and crediting:
Must have completed at least 150 hours of flight time of which a maximium of 50 hours may have been completed in a simulator training device.
Must pass a proficiency checkride with an examiner assigned by CAAV.
Medical fitness:
Must hold a valid Class 1 medical certificate issued by an authorised medical center.
Registration form.
