This training program is designed to train you to become a flight instrutor. The course provides aeronautical knowledge and proficiency required for a pilot who will be in the instructor’s seat. Besides, teaching methods such as how to prepare lesson plans, the way to give an effective instruction, correct error analysis and accurate evaluation of individual student are ones of the obligatory part of this syllabus.
PRE-REQUISITES: Before attending the course, the following requirements must be met: -Minimum age: at least 21 years of age. -Medical fitness: must hold a valid Class 1 medical certificate issued by an authorised medical center. - Education: at least must hold a high school diploma. - Languages: good communication ability in Vietnamese and/ or English with minimium score of ICAO level 4. - Flying experience: must hold a Helicopter Commercial Pilot License (CPL-H) or an Airlines Transport Pilot License (ATPL-H) with minimium credit of 240 hours of flight time . - Proof of identity: Personal ID or passort, Declaration of any pending criminal proceedings and other equivalent documents.
THE CAAV REQUIREMENTS: An applicant for a Helicopter Certified Flight Instrutor (CFI-H) must meet the following requirements:
Theoretical knowledge: Must hold a valid certificate of the successful completion of CFI Theoretical syllabus of 45 hours .
Experience and crediting: Must have completed at least 25 hours of flight time. Must pass a proficiency checkride with an examiner assigned by CAAV.
Medical fitness: Must hold a valid Class 1 medical certificate issued by an authorised medical center.
